Snake River BASE Academy’s Rigging Skills course is the only BASE specific rigging course available today.
Course Tuition $1195
Outstanding features of the course include:
Gear inspection and maintenance techniques. Students will learn to inspect and maintain BASE gear, and to recognize which repairs should be sent to a professional rigger.
Simple patches. We will make and install simple patches for canopies.
Line replacements. Students will learn to replace line sets on BASE parachutes.
Bridle construction. In class, we will build bridles, as well as discussing which components cannot be easily built at home, and why.
Stash bag construction. Every participant will build learn to build a complete stash bag for their gear.
Evaluation and use of home sewing machines. Classroom sessions will include a review of various home sewing machines and which are most useful for simple BASE rigging use.
Unlimited auditing privileges to repeat the course. Any student is welcome to repeat any course they have completed at any time in the future at no additional charge.
