FAQs

How much do SRBA courses cost?

The Fundamentals of BASE course is $1495.  The Safety Skills courses in Twin Falls (Object Avoidance, Landing Skills, and Object Evaluation) are $1195.  Tracking courses in Europe are $1195 each.

When you register for a course, you’ll pay a deposit of 50% of the course fee. The balance is due when you check in (with the exception of tracking courses).

What is included in the course fee?

Our course fees include all instructional costs—including gear use and packing. Meals and lodging are not included.

How many skydives should I have?

Although we do not have any hard and fast jump number pre-requisite, it is always best to have as much parachuting experience as possible before starting BASE.

That said, it’s more important what skills you’ve learned than how many times you’ve exited an aircraft. See the next question for necessary skills.

How can I prepare to get into BASE jumping?

These two files include recommendations for preparation for BASE and canopy drills to complete at the DZ. Use them as a guide to prepare and to evaluate your readiness for BASE.

What additional fees will I be charged for gear rental or packing?

There are no fees for gear rental or packing.

Can I rent gear?

Gear use is included with all courses in Twin Falls. Students should have their own gear or arrange to borrow gear for courses in other locations.

Snake River BASE does not rent or loan gear to jumpers who have not completed the Fundamentals of BASE course.

Snake River BASE alumni are welcome to borrow gear to use at the Perrine Bridge any time they are in Twin Falls.  There is no charge to borrow gear.

Can I repeat a course?

If you feel uncurrent, we suggest you sit through any courses you’ve previously completed as a refresher.

Students are welcome to audit any course they have already completed, at any time in the future, for no charge.
