The Snake River BASE Academy is located in Twin Falls, Idaho, with easy, year round access to the Perrine Bridge for training and practice jumps.

Our teaching philosophy is simple:

Focus on the student. The most important part of the learning process is the student. Since every student learns differently, we strive to create a range of training approaches that let us find the best way for each student to progress. Our goal is to help every student progress at their own pace, without pushing students to make jumps that they are unprepared for, or uncomfortable with.

Educated decisions. We strive to provide our students with the best, most thorough understanding of fixed object parachuting techniques and equipment. Every BASE jumper must gain as much knowledge as possible to make educated jumping decisions for themself. We help provide you with good information to base your decisions on.

Thorough preparation. Practicing in a safer environment will make it easier to survive later jumps. By learning and practicing fundamental BASE skills in a relatively forgiving way, you can greatly reduce the risks you will take on more advanced sites, or in more advanced jumps. A logical, step-by-step progression will minimize the chances of severe injury or death.
